Loss of 3-click and broken keys

Two issues/questions...

Occasionally I lose 3-click....very rare, but it happens. It bumps itself back to one-click. One time it self corrected the next time I started the car, either way it's easily re-programmable. Anybody else run into this or have insight into conditions that may cause it???

Second....the chrome ring around your key fog can break. It apparently happens now and again and this is known at the dealerships. I'm told there is a easy fix...a replacement ring just snaps into place. In any case, the chrome ring is trim only...it serves no other purpose. Not a big deal (mine is being fixed under warranty...I'm using the spare for now), I was just worried that the broken trim on my key would jam in the key dock.

My doors don't seem to automatically lock anymore even though I swear I set it to do that.

For a lane change signal.

You can program (each key fob) to have your choice of one or three blinks on turn signal,
if you move the lever half-way (detent felt) to turn signal on.

Your spare fob isn't programmed to 3 click. It'll work right when you use the original.

I'll reprogram the new one....I coulda swore it worked yesterday when I used the new key, but I could be mistaken (this happens alot ). I had forgotten the turn signal info was stored in the key, so that is a big help...thanks!

My SA said there is a replacement outer ring for the key that can be fitted in seconds.
