Need some Help ID'ing a Part
Okay so I have been having trouble with some oil leaks and oil pressure issues for a week now. I've had it where the light comes on at idle then goes away went accelerating. Anyways Im pretty sure I know what the problem is. Last time I had someone change the oil they threw away this part http://www.promini.com/images/cooperoilcap.jpg The black perforated piece. So when I went to do an oil change I discovered the leak along with oil canister being torqued to over 100lbs :eek2: Anyways I just wanted to know if anyone knew the name of that part and if it can be ordered at the dealer? Id appreciate it.
Thank You, John  |
You're going to have to buy the enitre fuel filter housing assembly at great cost. Then, never let anyone change your oil but yourself.

That sucks. Maybe I can get around not having it. The filter worked before with no problems.

may want to try contacting Mini recycling .800.926.5900, they ship ...

It comes with an assembly. That Part # is 11-42-7-563-763 and they run about 45 bucks.
Classic and Morristown both will give discounts to NAM members and shipping wise Classic in OH is closer. Real OEM was down to you cause I was on it at the same time and used the entire bandwidth bwahahaha http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...95&hg=11&fg=30 is a link to what you are looking for. |
