Blower fan not turning on

Hello all first time posting here for my father, and well here's the situation. He has a 2006 mini cooper non s and the blower fan wont cut on no matter what setting or speed the climate control is set to. We changed on the resister with the spikes and nothing. I can hear the doors moving when I go through the settings but the fan won't turn. I put 12v to the fan and it turned on so I don't think it's the fan, plus it just stopped working in the middle of a drive. No motor noises before that. I've looked around the forum but for everybody else it seems to be the resister or the motor. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

If you have checked the fuses than would think it either the fan motor is burnt out, or, the switch/module is bad. Me, I would check to see if by jumping the motor it runs.

Is there a way to check the switch to see if it's working correctly?

So I have done what you shouldn't do and ordered a used control panel and a new resister. Neither fixed the problem. The weird thing is if I give power directly to the motor it will turn on and run and I can even adjust the speed through the controls. Any ideas? Really out of ideas here.

Hey Angel, did you ever get a resolution to your problem. My blower motor just stopped working, no grinding or burning, just stopped. Taking the blower motor out is a major PIA so I figured that I'd just swap out the relay to see if that works. Please let me know if you were able to get yours fixed? thanx. Also, how were you able to jump the wires to the motor?

Gonna need the diagram for the pin out. Test each pin for correct values. There should only be one ground
