installed a cold air intake yesterday. in the process i dropped a washer into the engine bay behind the engine and was not able to find it. everything seems fine except that when i am in reverse and hit the gas there is a really loud single click sound coming from the engine bay (to loud to be coming from the washer just moving around lose). could it be related to the dropped washer messing something up? are there any other issues that could arise from a washer dropped into the engine compartment that i should be worried about?

 

There is nothing BEHIND the engine that could make that noise from a fallen washer. IMO
