8-day old 07 MCSa won't start
 

My 8-day old 07 MCSa won't start (stalls right after starting) even with numerous attempts. It's at the dealership for the past two days and they still haven't figured out what's wrong with it. I knew MC was not the most realiable car, but 8 days with a whopping 250 miles?:no:

I'm seeing that this is a beginning of a love/hate relationship. :cry: :cry:

Not that I wish this upon anyone (believe me, it's very frustrating), but has this happened to anyone before?

Problems with any first gen car are hard to figure out but I am certain that once they get it sorted you will be in good shape.

I hope that it get sorted soon....

Neutral sensing switch?
Jiggle the shifter and steering wheel with gusto; if that doesn't work, get a tech on the phone. Could be as easy as a loose wire.

When my 07 MCS did the same thing, the CEL came on solid. My 07MCS was in the shop for 28 days. Essentially "they" think it was a bad tank of gas :confused: , resulting in the replacement of the two fuel pumps, changing out the spark plugs and draining the fuel tank. I personally doubt this diagnosis but I'm no mechanic either; I have always used the very best name brand premium fuels. I hope your problem is resolved much sooner then mine, good luck!

3 days now and the dealership still doesn't know what's wrong with my 07MCS. They're contacting some national technical hotline to get help.

yeah, they gave me a loaner, but not a mini though

That's quite the bummer. Here's hoping that you get it back and have many hassle-free miles ahead of you.
