“Frost on the Pumpkin 2005”

Our brothers at the STL chapter of BMWCCA have invited all MINIs to their 2-day driver’s school at Gateway International Raceway. Here is the info:

Driver’s School – November 5th-6th (Registration is for both days, not just one)
Tech is done by Reid Vann Imports before the event, see details below.
Cost for the 2-day track day is $260, which includes instruction, classroom materials, registration gift, refreshments, vendor freebies, etc.

BMWCCA membership is required to attend the track day, so click here to apply for BMWCCA Membership:
https://www.bmwcca.org/members/am/te...n=on_line_join
A 1-year membership is $40 and includes membership in the St. Louis Chapter.

To register for the event and get further details, click here:

Helmet required: Snell 95 helmet (M or S)

Tech info: Reid-Vann appointments are set for 10/18 and 10/19 from 5:00 until 7:00. They will also conduct the inspection anytime two weeks prior to the event free of charge. Just give them a call at 968-4100 for an appointment.

If you have other questions, please feel free to send me a PM or post in this thread. This track weekend should be a great weekend of track fun before the season ends! I hope to see lots of MINIs there!

Cheers,

FYI,

When I called the posted number for BMWCCA, I was unable to get pro-rated dues. Apparently they simply start your membership the day you sign up, and it's good for one full year from that date.

However, the $40 for the national membership includes dues for the local chapter, contrary to what the DE application form indicates.

Not a big deal, but it caught me by surprise.
