St. Louis European Auto Show...sign up now!
The 23rd annual St. Louis European Auto Show is gearing up!
We have about one month before the show and our 200 spots are filling up quickly. And the trophies this year are uber-cool. Direct from the UK and quite unique!
The show will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Plaza Frontenac. All of the money we collect from car owners (like you), sponsors, vendors and our silent auction is donated to the St. Louis Shriners Hospital for Children. The Shriners Hospital provides orthopedic and burn care to children under 18, at no cost to the patient. We couldn't do it without you.

I've got an application that will be in the mail on tuesday. I'm not sure if I want to get confirmation, 'cus that means two weeks of hard detailing work! Well, either way, it should be fun!

I'm mailing mine today, as is a buddy that lives up in Springfield, IL. Mine will be as clean as I can get it, but I'm far from a detailing expert. If nothing else, it should serve to make everyone else's look better!
Marque Group
They attempt to get Marques together, but as the event fills up, if you get there late, sometimes they run out of space. This usually happends if they have a lot of "drive up entries". It is a great show and how we have a maxie, Mini/MINI turnout.
But we don't have to meetup beforehand. It's not that big a deal.
Right now it's not looking great for us weather wise. To be honest I won't be terribly disappointed. Cal me a spoil-sport if you like, but this weekend has a lot of motorsports going on that I prefer to watch live. The 24 Hours of Le Mans runs from Saturday morning to Sunday morning, then the Canadian GP mid-day Sunday, and and there's also WRC Rally Portugal. Bad weekend to schedule a show.
I'm up for meeting whenever/wherever you guys want to. If it's a few minutes before so we can all roll in together, probably so much the better.
And I agree about it being a rough weekend to schedule (in particular) a "European Auto Show", knowing that many of those owners are the same folks that would follow Le Mans, F1, etc. Oh well, thank goodness for DVRs.

not to mention, I have the F1 Timing app on my iPad and it's more fun to use when watching the race live.
It was too hot. I was dyin' out there.
