Hi I'm a newbie!!!
 

Hello everyone! Im new to MINI of St. Louis and am very excited to be a member! Just wanted to ask a couple questions and introduce myself and sparky (MINI) a little bit.

I am 24 and live in South City along with Sparky and my dog Brodee. I have owned Sparky for almost a year and couldn't be happier. When I purchased him, I knew I had something special but had no idea there was a whole MINI universe out there! Sparky is a 2005 MINI Cooper S and he is electric blue.

I am excited to jump right into the club and attend the wonderful events that the club has to offer. I am also excited to learn all I can about my MINI and meet new people!

I have two questions so far (I know nothing of the mechanics of engines and such so there will probably be more as I am hoping to get Sparky modified soon). First off my boyfriend recently put front brake pads on the MINI and replaced the sensor since it went off. Now we cannot get the sensor to reset. Anyone else had this problem and able to fix w/o taking it to MINI of St. Louis? Secondly, where is the best place to find the racing stripes that go over the whole car? Also what does R53, 56 etc. mean and how do I find out what model mine is?

05 cooper s = r53. not sure on the sensor and for vinyl stripes I would go to Designs and signs in Festus, they are friends of mine and local. Also welcome..
