Mini Tuners or mechanics in STL

So I am at the end of my warranty and it's time for some upgrades. I added CAI, a little prematurely but if i have more work to be done I can swap it back easily. Next on the list is exhaust, ignition and pulleys. the exhaust and ignition are no big deal, but I need somebody who I can trust to do my pulleys. I guess I should get it tuned also while I'm at it. Anybody know a reputable mechanic that will work on Minis?

I love Miller Brothers in St. Louis. They don't specialize in MINIs but no one really does.

Here's some other options

In Rock Hill: Reid Vann (specialize in european cars)
In University City: Bavarian (specialize in BMWs and does work on MINIs)
In St. Louis City: Bimmers 'R' Us (specialize in BMWs and does work on MINIs)

Reid Vann did my pulley and did a great job! Jon knows the job and how to do it; he's done several MINIs...

Best For Mods

Waylen of Way Motor Works comes to STL quite often, he is the best, a certified MINI technician, he knows MINIs, he has done all my mods and I wouldn't trust anyone else, ask anyone who has had him work on their car and they will agree.
You can contact him at: 317-201-8670...............tell him Doug sent you.

I bought the pulley from MINI Mania, and then Reid Vann installed it for around $300. I would say they are your best option if you can't wait for Waylen to come to town.

I had some other engine work done at the same time, so not that bad. It is a labor intensive job for sure.

Wow $300 seems cheap! I was quoted $450 for just a pully swap at Bimmers r us . I'll just do it myself...

Waylen is the first choice is he's in STL or you can go there, otherwise I would say Reid Vann is your next choice. Either way, you'll wonder how you ever drove without the pulley!

Reid Vann quoted me 450 for parts and labor. Just FYI. I need a garage so I can do my own work

Bimmers R U charged me 475 for a pulley install along with installing my OBX header including welding it to the stock cat. They did good work, but I found them to be very pretentious. mayber just me...but like i said, good work.
