The 6yr-old Squadron announces its first-ever after-dark tour, thru the very back roads of southern Warrick and Spencer counties: one-and-half wide lane roads over hills, thru curves, woods, and across historical iron bridges. The trial run revealed deer to already be bedded down, didn't see a single racoon or bunny.

This will be this comming Thursday, June 9; meet at the new Lucas Oil Center on N Grn River Rd at 6:45pm, where owners Bill or Brenda will open the store to give us an exclusive tour of the new facilities; then up the road at 7:15 to the Sonic Drive-In for a meet, greet, and eat. As the sun fades, we'll take off past Newburgh for a couple of hours of spirited but safe driving, top-down, before returning to Newburgh where everyone can split off for home and get a decent night's sleep for the Friday workday.

The Sir Brit club is being invited to join in, as well as the new MINI group...hope to see you all there, we can talk about plans for upcoming expeditions.

Should rain become a factor, the event will be postponed a couple of weeks: these roads are just too dicey to do in the dark on wet pavement; another e-mail 24hrs in advance will reveal the advice of weatherman Jeff Lyons.
