A huge thank you goes out to the silver MINI on Irvine Center Drive & Alton. You made my day!

I had one, but accidentally scrubbed off a corner when I was trying to get some bird sh*t off. Eventually the entire decal came off.

The LY/W MCS was probably me. I live in PB and work in Point Loma. The MCS is our 2nd Cooper, my wife drives a CR/B MC CVT.

Red MINI Day
OK, I'm late getting this posted. Last Monday (11/22) Bill and I were northbound on 405, saw 3 Cr/CR MINIs in southbay curve area, around 8:40 am-ish. We were in the carpool lane - couldn't have been same car thrice, (could it?)as carpool lane was moving at a much better clip than rest of freeway. Saw at least 4 more throughout the day, we were in Santa Monica and Westwood 'til early afternoon. Sorry about not honking/waving, I'm a bit rusty on my city driving skills.

Around noonish today . . .
'05 BRG/W MC with Long Beach MINI paper plates, northbound on I-5 between 91 and 605. I tried to wave but received no acknowledgement.
The guy probably just got his Cooper and not familiar with "proper" MINIquette.

Who here has a plate that says "STEALTHY S" well it doesn't say "stealthy" but I couldn't figure out the shortened version that they had. Saw it going by on the 91 DS/B. Same as mine. Sorry if I didn't see ya. Didn't know you were right next to me until you took off! lol

He's a member of our club but I don't know what screen name he uses here, if at all.
Couple newbies this morning
Commuting on 805 north around 8:30 this morning, saw a new CR/W (I think it was an MCS) and minute later a new PW/B MC. Both had paper plates on from Brecht.
Didn't get a chance to wave, not sure if they tried or not.
Welcome to the neighborhood, though!

My first Wave, and light flash :)
I think its been about three weeks since I brought home my new mini and I just took a drive up to Reno and saw tons of them, and NOT one wave! I think I'm way over excited about the whole deal. Then finally last night, I was driving to the coffee bean on 2nd street in Belmont Shores and it finally happened, a wave and a flash, I was too excited to noticed too much about the mini cause I was busy honky LOL flashing and waving LOL but it was a young man and his mini was charcoal gray with maybe a white top. It is like in sales, you get get `100 no's but the ONE yes you get is incredible.
To the young gentleman, thanks for being my first.

Hey Nick,
I'm in Olivenhain, have had my MCS since early June. Besides the for sale mini parked down the street, there is an IB/w with bonnet stripes and a CR/CR down the street, also a CR/W with bonnet stripes and roof rack in the area, plus a fair numbers of others I see regularly. I'm usually not driving around during main commute times. Whacher ride look like? Maybe I've seen you?
