Wasn't sure where to post this. MINIJAMIE and I are going on a 5 day cruise out of Galveston TX in a few weeks. We will likely stay 1 night before the cruise, and I am looking for suggestions on where to stay. Neither of us has ever been there. Also I was wondering about parking. Is the parking reasonably secure at the pier???? Best Western offers free parking for cruise travelers while on the cruise if I stay with them would I be better off leaving Flo (my S) at the Pier for 40 bucks or at the BW for free??? or what should I do??????????

I live in Houston and took a cruise out of there. We left our car inthe cruise lot and it is totally safe down there. IF BW does it for free, go for that, they will most likely dump you off there too and this is cool. The other lot drops and picks you up as well.


can't answer the question about staying there since we didn't need to.
