Recommendation for service in San Antonio, TX?
 

I need some work done on my 2003 MINI, and am looking for a second opinion from somewhere other than the MINI Center on 281 (got an estimate from them, and would like to see if there's a better deal).

Does anyone in the area have a recommendation for a good place to get service done on a MINI in San Antonio?

BMW (not the car) stands for like brad Motor Works. he works on minis and BMWs. I have never taken my car there but he works on minis

Old Tezel and Tezel. it across the street from a school.

There are lots of good San Antonio auto repair shops that repairs mini's. you just need to find the best shop nearest to your area and contact them asap. goodluck on you :)

Bumping an old thread... not satisfied with MINI of SA. Been there twice and each time they have left loose parts sitting/hanging about, torqued the heck out of one of the wheels, etc.

Does anybody have any other suggestions? Google came up with nothing on Brad Motor Works (sp?). I called Motor Techtonics as they have great reviews but they stated that they don't have MINI computer diagnostics. They didn't have anybody to recommend either.

Help me out please before I make the drive to MINI of Austin.

I am also not happy with Mini of SA did you find an alternative?

I drive from various places. My commute from home to school takes me from west side to olmos basin area, on wednesdays I go near helotes

Ok here us the best place to go in San Antonio. I took my 2009 Cooper S and had a GREAT experience. It is Bavarian Auto Repair. Jason specializes in BMW and Mini coopers. www.bavautorepair.com The shop is located on 12066 Starcrest Dr. San Antonio 78247 (210) 485-4555. He does a great job to explain and do the repairs with feeling like you do and the dealership is San Antonio. They are certified BMW mechanics.

I would highly recommend Bavarian Auto Repair. 12066 Starcrest Drive San Antonio. Jason is a certified BMW mechanic and opened this shop because of the many frustrated BMW and Mini owners that have had to deal with the local dealership process. Give them a call (210) 485-4555.

I am sure you will be much happier with the service Jason provides. It is a new shop that is growing. easy to get in and out right now as they are building thier customer base.
