Barber Motorsports Park, anyone?
Sorry for the crosspost, but I just want to get the word out and hopefully see a bunch of MINIs at Barber...
I'd just like to throw out an invitation to a DE event at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, AL. I'm active in the Audi club, and we're having the event on the first weekend of November (5th & 6th). We're falling a bit short on enrollment to break even and we'd be happy to have other marques join us. My wife will will be there with her '04 MCS, and there are usually various MINIs, Porsches, and BMWs.
The cost is $349 for Audi Club NA members; tack on another $44 yearly membership for non-members (this is required for club liability reasons, they might knock off $10 if you don't want the quarterly magazine). Run groups will be broken up into beginner through advanced. If you haven't been to a DE before, you'll get a little classroom time and plenty of instruction to get you comfortable. For advanced folks, you probably already know that this is a great facility--challenging, yet safe. Don't forget about the beautiful setting (fall colors should be near peak) and the on-site motorsports museum.
See here for registration form and info:

Hope to see some other MINIs there!
