Thank you, the Mini is running good.

Don't let all them Honda's gang up on you.

jetsr6 07-24-2018 05:38 PM

I’ve beat 4 of them that are going already. So it’s possible to beat them again. I’ll do my best!!!

We haven’t raced yet, first week of September is when it starts. The cap for nationals this year is 1400 people and it’s already filled up LOL

Burglar 07-26-2018 08:22 AM

What days do SMF run?

Make sure you find the big wheel pro solo, the beergarden (and poutine if you're lucky,) giant beer pong, 4 square, and the trasharita. Seeing 1,000+ cars in paddock is something else. The competition is great of course, but as they say, "It's a week long party with 1,400 of your closest friends, with a little autocross thrown in."

jetsr6 07-26-2018 08:27 AM

I’ll be running Tuesday and Wednesday. Can’t wait. Hopefully the wife will let me have some fun. Because she’s going. And she’s a non drinker

I'm really looking forward to your impressions on that lsd, did your car have the OEM lsd ?

also did you shave your trailing arm? or did the wheel do that for you

Right now I have a Quaife in there. I did that before I started autocrossing. But yes I should be able to get that 3J driveline in there by tomorrow. Have a autocross Sunday so will be able to see how all is going to change. Bad part is it’s probably going to rain😢.
The tire rubbed a little on the hash marks so I grind them away so it would be smooth. It’s a tight fit with those 9” Hoosiers in the back lol

never even heard of that diff, is it geared or clutch? and what ramp rates/setup did you go with, 1.0 or 1.5 ?

jetsr6 08-10-2018 11:31 AM

It’s a clutch type 1 way

Power/Coast Ramp Angle Setting =
40/90 (30/90 Optional)

Pre-Load Lbs/Ft =70

MrBlah 08-13-2018 06:16 AM

did you get it done? Impressions on the diff?

It’s in. Had to file and grind some for clearancing. So that kinda sucked. It was pretty loud at first, that was normal but at the end I was spinning both wheels coming out of turns and not just the inside lol
Improved any not sure yet. Had a battery short on my first 2 runs with a dnf ended up getting my best run on my 3rd actuall run. That was pretty far back in PAX compared to last time at this same event.

jetsr6 08-13-2018 07:34 AM

That first pic shows the pinion with some chunks takin out. Just to much power🚗🔥💨

I did another event yesterday and was FTD and 3rd in Pax only .007 from 2nd. Definitely can get on the throttle sooner and without inside tire spin. I’m loving it. Other than it sounds like it’s breaking lol when driving slow around pits. So I’m liking my 3J Driveline.

MrBlah 08-19-2018 09:28 AM

any change in turn in & push on exit?

jetsr6 08-19-2018 10:49 AM

At this last site I didn’t have either. Next week I’ll have the 275’s on. I’m sure there will be no pushing on exit unless I’m just doing something crazy. Yesterday wasn’t planned, so had to drain the trans before I left and get gear oil on the way and put it in there. 2 walks to know where I’m going and figure out everything else at speed lol

MrBlah 08-20-2018 04:32 AM

Where did you get the lsd? I'm probably upgrading this winter this one is high on the list

Burglar 08-21-2018 04:56 AM

Good luck in Lincoln!

Thanks, Alex Piehl said I should be able to pull off mid pack. He got me in PAX this past weekend by .007 for 2nd.

Oh oh and I think Craig Wilcox is running SMF too

Place 2nd in SMF to Chris at local event, only .049 behind this past Sunday with my pretty much fully prepared as it’s going to get Mini.
