I brew and drink my own beer. I make a lot of different varieties but I seem to make American Pale Ale the most.

Loosely quoted from W. C. Fields. He had some other pertinent observations as well.

I tried that a couple times with friends that brew. It was a cool learning experience.

You can get in deep trouble "earning" from selling home brew without a license. Yes it is a good learning experience, science and fermentation.

I loved to home brew, except the clean up part. My body didn't like having so much beer around the house so I gave it up and sold off my insane amount of equipment I had bought to make beer.

Grammar police got me!

The time cost was not worth the product for me. Way too long and intensive a process for some bottles of beer. I'd rather turn a wrench and let someone else brew the beer I drink.

One should not sample too much brew prior to posting here.

Politics and religion don’t make cars run down the road! If you want to talk politics go find a political forum. If you want to talk religion, go to church where others will agree with your opinions. Absolutely NO!

We must be something right as the numbers for new members, posts and threads are all up. Nothing like years past, the BFB times. Perhaps that is part of the reason, many just don't like the entire Facebook thing.

My opinion, of course, but Facebook and in many ways, the internet, have ruined society and relationships. The internet should have been restricted to research, much like a set of encyclopedias back in the day. No socializing except to obtain knowledge. Socializing should be face-to-face. But, I’m skating close to violating my own opinion so I’ll shut up.
