What's with the "Observations on pocketrocketowner" thread in OT::Politics.

I get to a page saying I can't read it.

I recall seeing a post last night saying that MINIClo moved it to combine it with a similar thread. Problem is, I can't recall the new title...and at any rate, it doesn't seem to exist at all anymore. Moderation error I suspect.

Oh well, no big loss

It was moved to Under Review by one of the moderators. In doing so a redirect link in OTP was accidently left which was causing the message you were seeing. I removed this redirect link this morning.

How do we get to under review?

It used to be a fine place on the old site.

Is it available with the new software?

If you are asking if Under Review is viewable to the general membership on the site as it was in the old site the answer is no. The old software had no means of preventing viewing to the general membership. The reason we restrict access is that we want time to review and address issues (ie - site guideline violations) that come up in posts.

Whew, I got that message too. At first I was concerned I was falsely tied in with some sort of unsportsmanlike conduct on the thread that got me locked out. By the title, though, it may well have been crossing the personal attack line.

BTW, I'd always thought it odd things would be pulled for review yet still be available to read. Glad to know why that was.

That's right - I got the same message, but quickly forgot about it.

Thanks Mark (and MINIclo), it really had no place in OTP.
