Wow, you guys have your own forum? Impressive! :grin:

I am looking to purchase a Mini in the coming months and just curious how many of you guys purchased your Mini brand new from Desert Mini over on Sahara and Decatur? Did any of you guys go to California or Arizona or anything?

I have only test driven a Mini from the dealer awhile ago but it was a blast. Anyone want to take me for a ride and show me what a mini is REALLY capable of?!??!?! :lol:

Hope to make a purchase soon, would be fun to hook up with you guys then. :thumbsup:

Some of the club bought from Desert (I did) and others bought from Cali, Utah or elsewhere. 2 of the 3 MINI salesmen at Desert are club members, in fact, Donovan and John are both former officers of the club and good guys.

We're doing a club run to Calico Ghost Town on November 5th, meeting up with West Coast Coopers. If you want to come with us, I'm sure you could get a ride with someone in a MINI, or drive your own car (as long as it's not a PT Cruiser :cool:).

The meet up sounds GREAT, and a lot of fun. Depending on how busy I am with my schooling (working on graduate project at UNLV School of Architecture...I'll have degree in December) I would LOVE to meet up with you guys. Where is the ghost town out? How far outside of Las Vegas? How many Mini's could I expect to see.

Donovan got in contact with me so I am anxious to meet up with him as well. Again, for me, I didn't get to really feel what the Mini was capable of the last time I drove it. I am anxious to really get the full experience of it, not to mention meet up with you guys.

FYI, no PT Cruiser here. :wink: :lol: My current daily driver is a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix and certianly doesn't have a fun appeal like the Mini. Thus, would like to trade it in. And I do have a little weekend toy. :wink:
