Thanks for all the wonderful replies everyone, you have been very very helpful.

Have made reservations for the Saturday, and still planning what to do on Sunday.

Camel VS Raptor

The Camel will be in town and a Red Rock run is scheduled for Sunday @ 2pm. Meet at the "under construction" Red Rock Casino/Hotel on West Charleston and the 215. All are welcome to motor through Red Rock canyon and enjoy the natural beauty of our surrounding mountains with a follow up cool down at a drinking hole (The Lodge) at the end of the run. As always, the more the merrier.

When I was in Vegas for AMVIV ( ) this year, my navigator and I had a wonderful meal at a Mexican restaurant in the Venetian, of all places. We had a very nice table overlooking the "canal", but it was the food that really sold us--it was innovative but still spoke "Mexican" loud and clear. It compared very favorably to the meals we had had in Oaxaca just a few weeks earlier.

Edited to Add:

For great Italian food in an off-the-strip-local-Mafiosa-type place you can't beat Piero's.

For seafood go to Aqua.
