Trip to Scotty's Castle in Death Valley, Jan 5.
 

The Sin City MINI Club will drive to Scotty's Castle in Death Valley on January 5, 2008. There are two tours available at Scotty's Castle, a main house tour, and an underground mysteries tour. The mysteries tour, which shows the technology used in building the house, can accommodate fewer people. If you are interested in going on that tour, please email me so I can get a head count and get a reservation so the group can all go at once.

The SCMC will go on a drive this Saturday, January 5 to Scotty's Castle, returning through Death Valley. We will leave at 9:00 am from the Santa Fe Casino, at 4949 N Rancho Drive. Meet in the parking lot on the north side of the property under the sign.

There are two different tours at Scotty's Castle, a main house tour and an underground tour. We have booked the underground tour for 12:45 pm (limit of 15 people) along with spaces on the house tour at 1:00 pm. Cost for either tour is $11 for adults.

There isn't a restaurant at Scotty's Castle, only snacks are available. If
you want more than that, you might want to pack a lunch. The map for the run is at:
