Interior/Exterior DIY Driving Light Brackets

DIY Driving Light Brackets
Here's some pics of my DIY driving light install. I got the idea from the PIAA lights, but couldn't see spending $300+ just for lights. The lights are from MossMini ($80), and I made the brackets from .150" 6061-T6 aluminum plate. I still need to do the wiring, but for $80 and an afternoon's time, you can save a bunch of money. And, being mounted to metal, instead of the plastic grille, they're pretty solid, so not a whole lot of jiggle.
I have patterns for the brackets and the bends, if anyone else wants to give it go... You'll need some sort of torch (plumber's, welding, etc.) to anneal the aluminum so you can bend it, a vise for bending and a drill. PM me if you're interested.

d2mini,
I was refering to the light bars that clamp to the grill, not the PIAA mounts.
And yes, there is some vibration, but not as much as with the light bars. I'm working on a mod to strenghten them even more, though. It won't change the basic design, just a little more support in the right places.
