I have 2 lightly used, like new, Rocky Mounts TomaHawk bike attachments. Bought them last fall.

I'll be going to a hitch style mount so looking at parting these. I've never owned better roof mount bike attachments. You can literally autocross your car and the bikes will stay put.

The TomaHawk is fat bike ready out of the box, while it will hold all tire widths up to 5" it also fits all wheel sizes 20-29"+. Its universal mounting hardware fits all shapes and styles of crossbars and its low profile, black powder-coated tray is less than half the height of other upright mounts on the market.

Best roof racks ever. I would have a frame made to install these on the hitch.

Wait a minute. I didn't think of that. It probably wouldn't take much. I'm going to seriously consider this. I don't want to cut into the roof of a GP so hitch rack it is.

Post pictures of what you come up with. I have my own ideas but I'm curious how it works out. My Grand Cherokee is lifted and that's why I want to build a frame for my racks. Here's a nice set up. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...-rack?ref=live

Will do. I have access to SolidWorks, welders and a full machine shop at work. Admittedly I was planning on a very basic bolt-on setup using simple 6061 tubing from McMaster-Carr.

SwitchBack guys are from SLC, locals.

Thanks for the idea!
