BNIB - Spec clutch kit. It came with my car when I bought it, but I think I'm going to go with a Valeo kit instead as I had a great experience with them in my e46.
It's literally still in the packaging - see pictures. Asking $700 shipped or best offer. Location is Chicago if anyone is somewhat local and wants to pick up.
Stage 2 Clutch - SB002 - $404 on spec's website - http://www.specclutches.com/691424/
Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel - SB09a - $413 - http://www.specclutches.com/706194/

Ah damn, wish you had posted this before I did my clutch about a month ago, and I'm in Chicago too.
But, I went with the Valeo kit and am really pleased with it! Good luck with sale!

Bump. It was recently brought to my attention that the clutch is not on a sprung hub. Apparently these are offered in both sprung AND unsprung. Awesome.
So for right now, these must be bought separately until/if I can get this clutch exchanged for a sprung one.

I see that now. Good eye. According to real oem there was a new part number in 07/04. Pelican says kits are 02-06, though. I just emailed spec to get their input. Will follow up. Thanks for mentioning it.

Update: after searching around, I guess the change then was from Midlands 5-speed to Getrag's 6-speed. I can't find any spline differences but they're the same diameter year over year. Will keep you updated.
Edit:

Those are the same part number. Looks like they're the same flywheel. I'll wait until I hear from Spec, but it makes sense to me that it would fit.

Bump - never heard from Spec, but I did speak with pelican who pointed me to their catalogue where it's listed as 02-06....

Edit: I've received word that ALL manual r53's were the getrag 6 speed. Only the r50 had the 5-speed. So this clutch WILL work for 02-06 r53.
Someone make me an offer.

All R53 from 02-06 and R52 06-08 with Getrag have the same parts where the clutch is concerned. The only real change to drivetrain was in the gear ratios from 04-05 models. 05 they made the Getrag a little tighter ratio on the bottom for better acceleration. Not a huge change but just enough. At any rate this change does't effect the clutch assembly.
Obviously, it you own an R50 (justa) or an R52 (justa) this will not work for you because it is a 5sp Midlands. Different assembly. Aaaand.. if you have done the 6sp conversion on an R50 you probably know better than I what will fit your MINI.
Cheers!
