R53 Wheels & Tires

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $450
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R53
Location (Region): SouthEast
Item Condition: Used

Located in Atlanta, GA.

Nice set(4) of Mini Cooper OEM wheels and tires size 195/55 R16. The tires are a set of run flat Dunlop SP Sport 5000 DSST.

The wheels are from a 2005 Mini Cooper but should fit the 2001 through 2013 Mini Cooper non S edition and the 2001 through 2006 Mini Cooper S edition. From what I have read these may not fit over the brakes of the Mini Cooper S 2007 through 2016 due to larger brakes sizes.

The tires alone cost $155 per tire new. The very cool thing about these tires is that if you do puncture them you are able to drive up to 50 miles to get somewhere to have them repaired. This is due in part to a stiffer sidewall that stops them from collapsing when punctured.

The wheels are in really good condition and at the current tread level I would assume the tires have approximately 10K miles remaining but both the wheels and tires are being sold as is no warranty. That being said, I personally drove on them from northern Illinois to Atlanta and they were really nice tires for the drive. I am only selling them because I also received a set of 17" wheels with the car I purchased and switched to them after putting new tires on them.

If you have any questions please PM me or call Tiffany at 404-919-7683.

For what it's worth, I have a set of these that I run for winter duty on my 2012 R55 Clubman S. Fit just fine over the brakes, no spacers needed.

Good luck with the sale!

I've been searching for a set of these wheels, and these look like they're in great condition. Are you open to shipping them at all? I'm in Chicago.

Shipping

If you pay via paypal and setup shipping via a company like uship I would consider it based on date of pickup. I am also getting a UPS quote later today but my guess is approximately $40 per wheel/tire through them.
