Harman Kardon Amplifier

Category: Navigation & Audio
Price: $225
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Used

I recently purchased this HK amp to troubleshoot a volume issue in my system. It turns out that I did not have the HK settings in the head unit set up properly. The original and this unit work just fine.

It does not make sense to have it sitting around as a spare. Please note that this is an R52 unit (bracket) and the bracket for the R53 is larger. I assume that they can be swapped out.

Notes:

You have to pull the passenger seat out of the R52 to get access to this unit. Disconnect the battery before pulling it out so you do not have any air bag issues.

These pictures are from the eBay posting that I purchased the unit from. It still has the LKQ tag zip tied to it.

The price is shipped CONUSA via USPS Priority w/ Tracking.

I am surprised there is no interest in the Amp. I read about lots of blown amps...

Could be you're priced too high. I've seen these amps go for $125-$175 in this forum.
People may feel that if they have to pay that much, why not just swap the whole system out...

I did not realize that you could swap your entire system out with an HK equivalent for $200.

Not saying that you could, when you get to a certain price, you start thinking why not just buy a new system. Just thought your price was a bit high for an 11+ year old used unit that is prone to failure....

So I guess I will sit tight and wait for the person that needs a rare 11+ year old part that is prone to failure and does not want to spend several hundred dollars to replace their stereo.

I paid $225 for it, so I am in to hurry to lose money on it.
