Hi there, could you please let me know if that CF housing that holds the filter is enclosed or open on the bottom? I can't see from all the photos on esctuning.com site. Could you please turn the whole housing upside down and take a photo for us to see? Thanks.

The picture of the engine compartment with the red cover happens to be my car. I can tell you with certainty that the air filter is completely enclosed.

The new one is $895 and on back order - are you sure you could find it cheaper? As far as I know it's the only fully enclosed carbon fiber aftermarket air filter housing on the market. Not easy or cheap to make and looks freaking amazing. Please don't compare it with the rest of the hot air intakes that suck hot engine bay air in.
And Sam, sorry mate, I was seriously considering buying this from you but my jetski's engine seized and is in for a full rebuild, $3-4k out of pocket, OUCH!!
Anyways, good luck with the sale.
