I have a few splitters for sale from my garage clean out. These are all new made out of ACM which is a piece of plastic sandwiched between 2 thin pieces of Alum. Has the edge guard on the front edge to protect against rock chips and is pre-drilled for you to use a guides to drill thru the bottom of your bumper cover. I used 9- 3/4'' long bolts with good size washers on both sides. Never had a problem with it doing club runs, Auto-x, track days etc... I did use 2 splitter braces I ordered from APR Performance but Ebay has lots of them as well. Splitter comes with no mounting hardware. Is covered in vinyl and has the edge guard on it for $75 and shipping to the lower 48 states is $20

Is it for the aero bumper or standard bumper?

 

Each style will fit either bumper. I only have the 1 Aero style though. Most people don't have an Aero bumper though it will fit the standard bumper as well. Just a matter of what you want to look at.. owner of one of these cars didn't want to use the Braces so he trimmed some material off the back side so it would slide further under the car to not stick out front as much..

 

Are they still available? Will this work with a JCW aero kit?

 

Either will work but the Aero one I did for my Aero bumper to kinda match the shape.
There is only 1 of those though..

Any examples of one on an F56S?

 

If you look in My Gallery on here there are some pics from when I went to the dealer and just kinda laid them under some different MINI types to get a pic. They are not mounted and may be off center alittle but of course you'd get it centered when mounting it... Plus they can be mounted to show out front alittle more or less then those pics as well. That can be some what determined during the mounting process...

 

It's easier to just take the bumper cover off of course but have known a couple of people who were able to get their car jacked up high enough to reach in/under there to put the bolts on. You do not want to just zip screw it to the bottom of your bumper cover...

I am interested in one of the straight splitters! also, where did you get the canards on the pic you posted with the blue mini

 

The ones on the green car came from Sneeds Speed which I think is no longer in business. Ebay has lots of them but the ones I used on my orange mini came from APR Performance and are stainless steel and not as bulky..

 

 

Don't have any close ups of them. I had covered the center porting in vinyl at some point.
