Hello,
Selling my 2007 Mini Cooper S, originally prepped for STX Autocross, but just used as an occasional daily driver for the last 3 years. I don't drive for work, so it sits in the driveway, mostly. Fairly low-mileage Mini (under 100k) that makes a great daily driver that is a blast in the canyons. It’s a rare color-combo of Pepper White with a Red Interior, and gets compliments wherever I go. All upgrades have been done in the last couple years, as I purchased it in May 2014. The car has a clean title, and runs like a top. Southern California Car, so no rust or corrosion issues. I love the car, but I need 4 doors now.
Here are the stats of the car.
2007 Mini Cooper S - 94,000 Miles. (Options: 6 Speed Manual, Cruise Control, Side Curtain Airbags, Panoramic Moonroof/Sunroof)
Rare Pepper White with Red Interior Combo
Juicy Upgrades (with their original price):
17” Neuspeed RSe05 Wheels - ($800+1 spare wheel w/tire)
New Hankook Tires in 2017
OS Giken Limited Slip Differential ($3000 installed)
New Clutch 2015 ($400)
New Flywheel 2015 ($800)
Vorshlag Camber Plates ($500)
Koni Yellow Single Adjustable Shocks / Sprint Sport Springs ($1200)
EBC Red Brake Pads, Rebuilt Calipers, Rotors ($600)
H-Sport Competition Rear Swaybar ($220)
($8170 total)
Maintenance:
New Thermostat/Housing May 2018
New Water Pipe May 2018
New Turbo Pressure Converter May 2018
Other upgrades:
New fuel injectors. Intakes walnut-blasted to remove residue. Alpine mp3/bluetooth/handsfree head unit, amplifier, Focal integrated separates speakers.
Extras:
Mini Windshield Sun Shade
Mini Cooper Fitted Car Cover
Known Issues:
Mostly trim stuff. No covers over the visor mirrors. No cover over the armrest. Missing toe hook cover on the front bumper (These were all missing when I purchased it.). Missing lens on passenger side marker. (Trying to source one) A couple of door dings here and there, but I may see if I can get PDR if I have a serious buyer. No mechanical issues I'm aware of.
$7,500 located in San Diego

It is still available. I haven't tried to sell it too hard...
As for the competitiveness...what class? I won a number of SCCA and BMWCCA events, and it would be a good platform to build a nationally competitive car out of. Or just a fun daily.

Which class did you win with SCCA?
What does it need to be competitive in STX? Or is it difficult to compete with 86 twin cars?

Before I did the LSD and the suspension it was DS. And yes, the biggest competitor now in STX are the BRZ and FRS. I think it can be very competitive with them, and this is a good starting point. I was always top 5 locally, and we had a couple of national drivers in the class.
