After 8 great years in two different Gen 1 MINIs, it’s timeto sell my 2008 MCCS JCW. I am the third owner, although it was nearly neverdriven by the first 2 as I purchased it with only 3,000 miles on it in 2013. It was a Florida car for most of its life, and always garaged while in Ohio, so isvery clean, low mileage and rust free example of the best MINI ever made. It was my daily driver for 2 years, but I only drove 2,500 miles last year as itbecame a third car, and my wife says I can’t have 4 cars now that my son isturning 16. This car turns heads, runs great, pulls hard and corners flat. If you love to drive, you’ll love this car. The car needs nothing other thansomeone to drive it more than I do.
I have a nearly 60 mile round trip commute daily, and alwaysaveraged 26-27 mpg. Consistent diet of synthetic oil every 6K, and always Shellpremium fuel. There are 2 small dings on the passenger door above the handlefrom the rear door of my wife’s SUV while parked together in the garage.

In a vert on a sunny day the Chrono/Nav with dual steering wheel gauges is great. Had mine out yesterday and you cannot see the MPH on the Tach. Had to keep looking over at the big speedo, PIA. It also comes with the radio AUX jack in the glove compartment. Gen1 at its best.
Good luck with the sale. Weather in your area is not the best for selling a vert right now.

I am interested in doing this, did you paint over existing and how much does it cost?
Are those seat covers?
Man I would buy this in a heart beat for my daughter if you were in so cal.

Thank you. And yes those are wet okole seat covers. Makes the seats cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. As for the smoothing, I had a bunch of other things (suspension , brake lines, etc.) while in there so I don't remember the breakdown, but they said it took an entire day to sand everything smooth, and then paint the next day.
