Giving this one more try before I go other routes with the car. I'm selling my 2012 JCW R58 Coupe. Has 17.5K miles and price is $23,500 OBO. Price has been coming down to find true market value.
If you have any questions or want more photos, let me know. Willing to meet in LA, SF, you name it!
Thank you for your time.
The stats:
2012 JCW R58 Eclipse Grey with Chili roof.
Suspension work: Bilstein shocks, H&R Springs, Alta rear sway bar, WMW rear end links, NM front strut tower. Also have adjustable rear lower link arms that are not installed but included in the price.
Exterior: OEM Blackline brake lights/side markers, all chrome other than belt line replaced with OEM gloss black parts, Xeon front headlights, yellow fogs, factory shorty antenna JCW GP rear diffuser, blue convex side-view mirror glass. I have the OEM rear lights, side markers and diffuser.
Interior: OEM Recaro heated seats, NM short shift kit, Cravenspeed boost gauge, Eclipse shift light, green tach needle, Renspeed RS door pulls, Renspeed fire extinguisher, Autopower harness bar w/belt powder coated Chili red, JCW OEM wheel, carbon fiber wheel covers and door pulls. I also have the OEM wheel with red stitching.
Engine: stock N14 engine, tyranny, JCW euro airbox, Pippen foam air filter, secondary cat removed. I have the OEM airbox and filter.
Oil changed on a more than regular basis. Tires are good, I'd say 50% tread wear on factory rubber. Brakes also in good shape.
Known Issues: The grey racing strips on the roof are starting to fade and have water marks on them. There is a small scratch on the left rear bumper above the fog lamp. The LED light for the driver side door pull is not working. The shift light needs to be wired correctly (I have it reading the batter charge right now).
If you have any questions, please let me know. Needless to say I went overboard with this car and I know I priced the car high, but it is worth it . . . there is not a nicer car with tastefully done mods around.

The most you'll get on the high end is $17k and that's a stretch. Value for a car with 7k less miles is right at $18k. It doesn't matter what you've added, you're better off trying to sell unmodified as most serious buyers want an "un-molested" car. What matters is the age and what engine it has. MINI's don't have the best reputation when it comes to reliability especially with the N14, and the value of used MINI's is crap. 5 year old cars don't sell for more than they're valued and most buyers won't have 20+ grand to spend on a car. Most all will have to finance and banks wont give more than the car is valued on the high end and even on the high end, you won't get $18k.
You're better off keeping it.

Banks won't go over 18 at the most. The car is too old, he should sit on it for 15 more years, then cash in. Nobody will bite where he's priced. They might for 20k, but he's dropping it in chunks. It'll get there

$25,000 is a starting price . . . never said I would not come down from that. Plus the history of my posts demonstrates that I'd be willing to come down as well; I just want somebody who is willing to pull the trigger and talk hard numbers with me.
I'd like to see a R58 with 10,000 miles going for $18K. I've seen R58's with 10K more miles going for $18K, however.
The point is to sell the car, not sit on it for 15 years.
I have two kids and no rear seat . . . life and priorities change my friend.
Regardless, thanks for the input guys!
