******SOLD******* GP1 Recaro Front Seats.

Category: Interior
Price: $2500
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53
Location (Region): West

I have a pair of GP1 seats. Only fronts since GP didn’t have a back seat. These are Recaro JCW black leather with red stitching. Local pickup Portland Ore, or shipping at buyers expense. These are cross advertised in other forums.

I assume they are heated, they were made specifically for a GP1 which came with heated seats. I took a picture of the four connectors. I know it has side airbags. I never had them installed, I bought them when I was in the market for a GP1 to eventually put them in there, but I went a different direction and never bought a GP1.

US market 1st Gen GPs did not have Recaro seats. These must have been imported.

I'll see if I can get shipping quotes. I need to figure out how to ship something like this.

I loaded them into my car tonight, I am going to take them to my office and try to get boxes for them, get them weighed and I can get shipping quotes. I appreciate everyone’s patience.

In the past, I've shipped large things like this via grayhound. The buyer would need to go to the bus terminal, but its much cheaper than UPS or fedex. Or you could look at building a crate on a pallet and using a truck to deliver them.

These are almost unicorn parts, it would be a sin for them to get hurt in shipping. Compared to the asking price, $200-300 for shipping shouldn't be out of the question if they are protected.

Have fun,
Mike

OKay, thanks for everyone's patience. I finally found boxes for the seats, and got them boxed. I took one over to the UPS store by my work, and its 66lbs (for one seat/boxed), and 30x30x24". They quoted ground is the only option they have due to size of box, and it would be $around $300/ea to Florida.

Anyone have other shipping options that I can easily get quotes on?

Hmm... I really, really want those seats. I also want a set of wheels. Maybe I can just visit Oregon - I've never been there

I checked the online greyhound and it looks like maybe it would be $190 for both boxes to florida - 14 day service, but I would want to confirm that as the package dimensions may not work. I couldn't tell from their site. Anyone have any familiarity with this?

UPS is basically $300/box/seat to the east coast. $250-ish to California. If we want to do Greyhound, let me know and I can get a better estimate tomorrow by calling them. When I ran the florida address in their system, it was $190 total for both boxes, but the dimensions didn't quite match up, thats what I need clarification on.

If anyone is serious about buying these, send me a PM so we can coordinate. I can work with Greyhound to save on shipping.

I think you can also do a similar shipping scenario as Greyhound but at any Fastenal store. Might be another option
