Thumbs up JB+ Adjustable dial inside, not California compliant. Will trade for sprint booster

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $230
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53, R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, F55, F56
Location (Region): Midwestern
Item Condition: Used

JB + Adjustable dial inside, not California compliant. Will trade for sprint booster for mini countryman with Manual transmission only. JB Plug In Tuning Module 2011+ Turbo N18 Engine. Used less than 4 months. Looks new. All contacts clean, grommets soft, wires soft. This one is not California compliant. It has a dial that can be turned to meet your mods or dialed back if you just use premium gas. I have it on 75 and added high octane and royal Purple boost. Turned it back to 60 for new owner. Two screws and you can change it to whatever you want.Decided to go with manic tune. Saving for larger intercooler and then down pipe. If nothing to trade performance wise I'll take $230 including shipping USPS lower 48 only. Note: This is Pre Cali law so it is better than Cali conformed JB+ you see from Burger on Ebay.

Little off topic but how do you adjust it? I don't see anything in the pictures.

You open the JB+ and use a small screwdriver to turn a small dial on the board. Can be done in under one minute

I sold the California compliant one and decided to keep the one MarioKarts friend hooked me up with. I had issues at first but once I replaced my plugs and ignition coils, all was well. My car had 50,000 miles on it. Minis should have their plugs swapped every 30,000 as suggested by many but not mini. I stopped throwing codes, set the dial at %50 and use premium shell gas and every once and awhile I use royal purple boost gas additive and alternate with a little MMO. I also swap my oil every 3000 with 5-30 Royal purple or Mobil 1 depending on the DIY sale at o'reileys or AutoZone. Once you get used to having a JB+ You will miss the boost it gives. This summer I plan to go with a new exhaust and ECU flash and down pipe. You can trust MarioKart. Also I hear buying a larger intercooler is a must. Is that true Mario?

Hi Chad, The ECU tune is way more aggressive, but has more safety features than the JB+. I encourage customers to get a bigger IC, it adds consistent power and peace of mind.

I'm going to go with Mario on this. Mario, thanks for taking your time to help out a Newb. I'm going with 2 stage tune, Ceramic Coated DP and Wagner Intercooler per your advice! Will be shipping ECU off next week to you.
