Talking **PRICED TO SELL**Rare** 2006 Factory JCW, LOADED, unmodded and well maintained!

Year: 2006
Make: MINI
Model: Hardtop
Price: $11750
Mileage: 60002
Color: Chili Red & Black
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (Region): Midwestern

*****PRICE REDUCED TO SELL*****

I had listed it at $16,200 expecting for routine negotiations, however I think that kept people away instead by mistake . My beautiful wife and I have baby #2 on the way, and I need to sell this car. (Sad day). Here’s the best deal I will take and I know there were several of you interested from your PM’s. Since there wasn’t much interest in negotiating before, I am just dropping the price by almost $4K.

$12,500.

(Now it is much less than I’ve got in the car and hoped for so fairly firm 12.5).

//

This is one of the nicest Supercharged Factory JCW builds you may come across. It has been my pride & joy. I have cherished this car as true enthusiasts among our Mini circles should.

Red/Black, all packages, leather, carbon fiber; It is a perfect JCW build combination. (IMHO )

I have only driven it in the summers. Rarely in conditions like a light midwest snow but that's it.

My wife and I recently found out we are joyously expecting kiddo #2. As life goes, babies, priorities, etc. I’ll soon be looking for a larger and more functional vehicle. It is with *MUCH* reluctance that I ponder posting my trophy car up for sale to a new enthusiast to cherish and collect.

Runs perfect. Low mileage- 60,002 miles.

Beautiful supercharger whine. The natural exhaust burble is loud and intoxicating.

Chili Red 2006 Factory JCW
-including: JCW Engine (Supercharger, pulley, head, etc), JCW Brakes, and Limited Slip Diff,

JCW Carbon Fiber- intake scoop, mirror caps, boot handle, REAR JCW WING, +JCW CF shift ****, etc. interior.

English Lounge Leather sport seats w/ contrast piping
Chili Red Interior pattern
Premium pkg
Sport pkg
Cold Weather pkg

Chrono Gauge pkg, **rare** + **awesome**

Moonroof
Harmon Kardon sound system (still sounds great. I did put in a Mediabridge unit- lightning USB connector plays and charges my iPhone 6S+).

Black bonnet stripes
JCW checkered floor mats, (also have all-weather mats).

JCW factory aero kit - I had this painted & installed after I bought it. These never were cheap, but, after I watched the Italian Job I had to have it. Just beautiful. I still have the original OEM ’S’ bumpers and side skirts which I will include.

One word: Stock JCW. Well maintained. For me there's beauty and class in keeping things the way they came from the factory. No engine modifications or hacks, everything is pristinely stock JCW.

Oil changes every 5k since I’ve owned it. Supercharger oil reservoirs (front+rear) refilled with fresh gaskets at 50k. (expensive but worth it). Brakes and tires are fine.

I have my mechanic's permission to connect you with him, he will tell you every detail from his records in addition to my own history, I will gladly provide his information to the buyer beforehand so you can have even more peace of mind.

If very serious, like-minded enthusiast, I’m more than happy to connect by phone as well. Text/Email is also fine. Happy to send you further details, answers to questions, or photos if for serious enthusiast buyer.

A bump and have any of these been replaced: crank sensor o-ring, knock sensor, water pump, t-stat, belt, belt tensioner or the power steering hoses?

How many miles on the brakes and tires?

PM sent! And for everyone else's benefit as well- Water and T-stat replaced prophylactically (they did not fail, but as a preventative measure) before I took ownership of the car at around 45,000 (owned by very meticulous enthusiast before myself as well). I have been very meticulous with the car since then.

At 50,000 miles - I had both anterior/posterior supercharger oil reservoirs refilled and replaced all supercharger O-rings. I did this preventatively to protect the SC (all original factory jcw parts). That was not cheap.

Additionally, while we had the front off I had the shop preventatively replace belt and belt tensioner. Again, nothing failed, this was to be extra protective of this car.

Tires/brakes freshly changed when I bought it, so I'd estimate about 14k miles, both are in fine functioning condition.

- For the person who will be making a move on this car, my BMW/MINI mechanic is also willing to speak directly with the buyer, go over records, etc., for additional integrity and peace of mind!

This is a wonderful 06 JCW! If I was going to pop on another R53, this car would be mine without hesitation. Good luck with your sale!!

Nice car! In my experience, though, our cars are always worth more to ourselves (the owner) than to anyone else. Keep an open mind on offers.

This in an incredible car and it is probably good I am on a business trip to the west coast since I have sometimes (ie. in winter) regretted getting a R52 vs using that money for a JCW...What city is the car located in? Feel free to PM that if you don't want to put that in the thread.

With the maintenance you have performed a knowledgeable buyer will know the price is not that bad. Some may question the two owner tag and the mileage but anybody looking for a nice JCW with very nice options should not be that concerned.

As stated previously, keep an open mind. Part of something is worth a whole lot more than all of nothing.

I'm looking for a 05/06 JCW and having owned two R53's in the past I'd love to own this, but the price is killing me.
Any chance you'd be a little negotiable or would want to trade a E82.
Let me know.

Can you provide the VIN so the build sheet can be decoded. Also post or send along some more pictures if you have them. Thanks

* Awesome JCW and deal Bump! *

I'd consider being a little bit flexible on final price for an interested enthusiast to make a move.

(Is it just the winter dampening everyone's car buying itch?)

I wouldn't blame winter, no. The car is priced too high to be appealing for most people. The car is priced at a point where many people will need a loan, but the car is too old for most banks to offer one. This equates to waiting for the perfect buyer, or dropping the price significantly.

It's a nice car no doubt, but right or wrong, many people rely on guides like KBB, NADA, etc for valuation, and you're about $4,000 high I'd guess. Good luck- it's a pretty little car.

There are plenty of excellent JCW's, (and GP's) going for higher than their insured and KBB values. I would think that is not because these sellers are unfair, but is just the limitation of value estimators the more classic/desirable/rare the car build is.

I'm absolutely not trying to stick anyone here, but this is an excellent Factory JCW build that deserves a decent price, and already in fair price territory. I invested expensively in the exterior, pro-active preventative maintenance (supercharger oil reservoirs and gaskets, and belt, for example), and despite those I'm asking half of what I paid for it, have only added < 4,000 miles a year. It has a strong price because it deserves a strong price.

That said, I'm honestly trying to be reasonable here so, price drop.

Very nice 2006 JCW. And the price absolutely fair, considering the build, condition, and extras.

I'd be all over this one, If I was shopping for an R53 JCW.
