Set an AutoTrader alert for keyword "Goodwood" with make as MINI. You'll get an email whenever one appears. That's how I found mine two years ago. It took about four months and then two appeared, one on each coast. Since then I've seen about 8-10 come up for sale, so figure on something like 3-4% turnover per year.

To answer the question, I generally see a couple per year. From a casual observer point of view, I’ve noticed about one per year on these forums and another one via sites like autotrader. I imagine their are probably more via dealer sites that aren’t indexed and other private party sales. You may have luck finding an active Goodwood owner group/thread and seeing if anyone it ready to sell. The last one I saw in here was a great deal...IIRC around $20k (with a decent number of miles)

Looking to buy a 2012 Mini Cooper S Goodwood edition. Is this the best site to keep an eye out for one. I looked on places such as autotrader and ebay and saw none. I know there are only ~140 out there, so I can be patient, just curious what the members here think is the best place to watch and wait for one.

According to CarGurus.com Henderson BMW near Las Vegas may have one with 52,000 miles for $10,466. Probably not a Goodwood but worth investigating if you are looking and it is not too far.

About to sell
I have a Goodwood with 27k miles which I am getting ready to list.
I see 5+ for sale in Europe, but with only 140 imported to the states they are harder to find over here.
