Another MINI in Florida (soon)

Not new to the MINI family but this will be my first MINI. My wife has had a Cooper S and a JCW Coupe. My Cooper S convertible is becoming a world traveler and is not here yet. Built in the Netherlands, picked up in Belgium, went to Germany and is now setting in South Hampton on the Grand Duke. I keep looking at my 128i in the garage and hope I don’t regret my decision but always wanted a convertible.

Thanks to a couple issues with activating my new NAM account my MINI is now on its voyage across the Atlantic.

Many Minis. Way to go! The 128i vs new Mini Cooper S convertible? Not a tough choice from what I have seen. Open top Mini... wins every time.

Throw some pictures of the herd on here when you get a chance. Welcome to the Forum!

Welcome to NAM. That is quite the MINI voyage for sure. Be sure to post some pictures for us once you get your hands on it. Have you named it yet?

That's a 100% Florida appropriate Mini! Great color. Take some interior shots. Looks like some nice leather in there. Worth the wait, I bet.

New Mini Chesterfield seats look very comfortable. Still haven't had a chance to go try some out. This can the best time of year for top down driving in Florida! Especially compared to our area here in Maine.

This is what it looked like out on our front yard around midday today. At least the sun was out and the temperature had climbed to 32 degrees.

I visited a friend in Plattsburg AFB during early February (many years ago) while vacationing for a week at Whiteface. Brutally cold and windy the whole week. He had somehow managed to go there from Hurlburt Field in Florida, where we were both stationed together for a while. After a couple of years he got back to Florida, forecasting weather at the Space Center to the end of his storied career.

Do like what Mini has done with the new interiors.
