That's my fear of the reman'd but it states on there that it's OE parts. Worse case I sent it back. I'd hate to buy an old used one just to steal the regulator off of it.

Just checked it. It's in good condition and connections look solid. Car came from NM so no corrosion or rust anywhere. I can try adding more grounds to the engine/trans to see if that helps.

Maybe I'm missing something but even using a mix of 85 Octane gas and 110 Octane Ethanol an E51 Mix would have an octane mix of 97.5 to 98. At least according to the E calculators.
