If its winter time I always let the car warm up for 5 or 10 minutes. But in the summer time I let it run long enough for the rpms to drop down to normal and I take it easy until it gets to temp....

Yeah I didnt knowing there was a "year" rule or a lot of things that would have to be changed on a newer mini. I liked the idea of importing a right hand drive newer mini.
