2 Day AutoX in Peru Indiana July 21 & 22

Tri-State Sports Car Council will host a two-day event at Grissom AeroPlex in Peru, Indiana on Saturday and Sunday, July 21 & 22. To avoid any confusion, all schedule and event times will be local Indiana (Eastern) time, which is one hour earlier than Chicago time. If in doubt use “cell phone time”.

The event on Saturday is a “just for fun”, non-points event. The entry fees are reduced a by a couple of bucks, and if you are season pre-reg this event is included, and no additional fee is required.

The format will be a bit different from our usual events and is designed to maximize the fun factor. You will be able to use the day for practice, to run a different car, for a “grudge match”, or in the case of STX & STU maybe more like a “Cage Match”. There will also be a practice slalom and friction circle (skid pad) set up behind the usual paddock area for some additional practice and limited test & tune opportunities during your “off-heat”.
Be sure to join us on Saturday evening for the annual pizza party. Free pizza & beverages to all Saturday and Sunday event entrants, the party will be at 7:00 PM in the Sycamore Room of the Hampton Inn, 2920 S. Reed in Kokomo.

Sunday will be a regular event and the competition and intra-class challenges will be sure to hit a high note. The Super-Stockers will have a great opportunity to beat on each other, the STX and STU guys will have a field day and all the Street Tire drivers will experience more grip & traction than they have had all season.

There are discounted rooms for TSSCC participants at the Hampton Inn 765-455-0924. Hampton is a good, comfortable place with a pool and continental breakfast. There are also rooms set aside for TSSCC at Motel Six, right next to the Hampton, 765-457-8211. A block of rooms are set aside for TSSCC, not actually discounted, but still cheaper than the Hampton.
