93 Octane in Denver?

Anyone know a station that sells 93 octane in the Denver area? Just out of curiosity.

I have not seen it on the pump but

I do know where you can get 100 Octane....and then blend your own right in the tank.

On S Santa Fe Drive, S of 470, and just S of Randy Webb's shop there is a Conoco at the top of the hill. It has a KFC or Taco Bell or somesuch in it, but over on the side next to the car wash is a lone pump..with 100 octane in it.

Pricey, but hot.

There are other pumps I am told. I have only used this one.

Thanks Jonathan! I'll check it out. Just how pricey is it?

You don't want to know...

Late last summer, before gas prices got real high...I think I paid something like $4.95 per gallon. I am sure it is more now.

The folks at WEBB may know if and where there are other pumps around town...

in Denver...

I did not find the 100 octane pump at the CONOCO at the top of the hill past WMS on Sante Fe, but I did find it a couple miles south of that location... 9397 S Santa Fe Dr. Get your credit card out... $5.51/gal. :eek2:

Just paid over $8/gallon for 101 octane in CA.

There is a little gas station in Berthoud on the 287 that has 93 octane. priced the same as 91 elsewhere.

Old shade tree mechanics tip -
you can bump your octane rating using toluene. most cars will never notice the difference with modern ECU's. Don't expect to notice any power difference. On old cars with carbs and high compression a few caps of toluene could mean the difference between sputtering and dying and running really well.
