Polo and MINI's - A Natural
 

MINI5280, it's members, non-members and guests have been invited to join the Denver Polo Club for the 2005 Invitational at the Denver Polo Club on July 9th and 10th, 2005. The Denver Polo Club's new location is in Sedalia, CO just south of Denver and North of Castle Rock off S. Santa Fe Drive near Chatfield State Park. Activities include authentic Argentinian BBQ, Colorado Mammoth mascot Wooley, Children's Dressage, Dancing Horses and Vaulters, a jazz concert by Dotsero, and more.

Among other things, the event schedule includes the following:

Saturday, July 9th (partial schedule)

• 10:00 am Gates Open
• 11:30 am Polo Player arrival in BMW MINIs
• 1:00 pm Ralph Schomp "Shoot to Goal and win a MINI " contest
• Jazz concert by Dotsero

Sunday, July 10th (partial schedule)

• 10:30 am Gates Open
• 11:30 am Polo Player arrival in BMW MINIs
• 1:00 Stomping of the Divots
• 2:00 Trophy presentation

Please block your schedule so that you can join us and help deliver a Polo player to the grounds. We will need 1 MINI per player, and additional MINIs are needed for the parade. Our MINI group will have parking and display immediately in front of the gate so that all participants and guests can enjoy the MINI marque.

Denver Polo Club event is coming up
 

We will need 8 MINIs each day to drive the Polo Players onto the field before the match. That is 8 Saturday and 8 Sunday.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Start your MINIs and Minis
 

It is now time to make the commitment to join us for 'MINIs, Minis and Polo'. We do need 8 drivers per day to make delivery of the Polo players to the fields. Please indicated by post here if you can and will be there, and which day. It will help us to know this in advance for our planning.

Last second reminder - Polo matches this weekend
 

As you may know (from our MINI5280 Calendar posting) we are attending the POLO matches Sat and Sun this weekend, July 9 and 10. Ralph Schomp MINI has graciously covered the cost of our entry so there is no charge to you. Further, Ralph Schomp MINI has also donated a few hundred $$ in merchandise and gifts for MINI and Mini attendees.

If you can still attend, and help us in delivering the Polo players to the field, contact Rick Gonzales (Pauhana right here in NAM) and let him know....whether this is for Sat or Sun or both.
