GLEN HEAD, N.Y.(August 1, 2006) – Nuzzo Motorsports announces an all star lineup for the 37th edition of the Grand-Prix de Trois-Rivières.

Rolex 2006 GT points leader and 2004 Rolex SGS class Champion Andy Lally, Dacula, Ga will co-drive the #20 MINI Cooper S Street Tuner class racer with Nuzzo Motorsports team owner Tony Nuzzo in Saturdays 150 mile event.

Quebec drivers Fernando Scattolin, Mont-Royal, Qc, Canada and Jean-Francois Dumoulin, Trois-Rivieres, Qc, 2002 Grand-Am Cup Series ST I champion will co-drive the Nuzzo Motorsports #22 MINI Cooper S.

“We are very proud to have such a strong group of drivers with us this weekend, they are all very talented drivers, and we’re excited to have them as part of our team. The GP3R is the only Canadian race on the Grand-Am Cup schedule in 2006 and we all want this win. I believe we have the cars and crew that can help us achieve this. The MINI’s are fast, fun to drive, good braking, great handling racecars, Add in a great driver lineup and a separate Street Tuner Class race and you have all the ingredients for victory”. Said Nuzzo Motorsports team owner Tony Nuzzo.

Jean-Francois and Fernando will be racing in front of their family, friends, fans, and sponsors so a win here would be extra special for this local duo.

Come out and watch as the MINI’s take the green flag on Saturday at 1:30PM.

.... nice to have good drivers, but you did at LRP also. Just keep the cars running and the pit stops organized and it might work this time. Can't win with drivers alone.....

Good luck.
