CotA NASA May 2019 Race 3

Best on a big screen so you can watch Bruce in the rear view mirror.

The 3rd race of the NASA weekend at CotA.

I started 6th overall and 1st in GTS2. Bruce started 7th overall and 2nd in GTS2, so he was behind Lisa who was on my left. I got a good start and beat Bruce to T2, but was held up on the run to T11 by the GTS3 cars in front of me. Bruce was right behind me at T11 and drove by me on the way down to T12. Fortunately for me, he out braked himself @ T12. We went side by side to T15 where I got back in front. From T16 through T20 I built enough of a gap that he did not pass me back into T1. This allowed me to build the gap back again on the run to T11 so that he could not pass me again into T12.

The video goes through lap 3, my fast lap of the race. I finish P1 in GTS2.

Tach and Throttle need fixing. No big deal since the sound supplies the same data.

Thanks to Mason and the rest of the Texas Track Works folks for a perfect weekend!

Nice driving Alan. How do you think the 0.4 ratio works for equalizing the fwd/rwd cars, particularly against the E36's?

Every little bit helps. At my weight the 0.4 is ~5 HP, so it's not gonna make much of a difference.
