R53 Track addicts - What temps are you running?

Oil
Water
Tire

I am curious... my oil temps are hot!

According to the EngTempC parameter in the logs the car runs in the low to mid 90s C. So, about 195 to 205 F.

According to the water temp sensor in the top bleed hole, water temp runs between 200 and 220 F. I still have the stock water to oil cooler on the car.

I am goign to get the madness oil cooler...

Everything I've read says that the r53 oil temp is calculated and not measured. At one (and only one) track day my oil temp was pegged high after a run. The coolant temp was normal and the fans ran as expected (including for a very short time after the car was shut off.) I believe the oil temp calculation went "out of bounds" and didn't really represent what was going on at that time. All the other runs of the day produced believable normal oil temps. I've never seen this happen again.

I have an autometer oil temp gauge with the sender mounted next to the factory oil pressure sensor on the oil / water heat exchanger. Max oil temps were in the 215-220F range on a day with ambient temps between 40-60F. Water temp max was 216F on track before it would cool back down a few degrees (factory radiator and cooling fan setup).

I did not have the oil temp setup on back then but I ran track events in Texas between May and July of this year with ambient temps in the mid 90's. I imagine that the oil temp was much higher. I run Mobil 0W40 oil and change each before each track weekend.
