Homelink rearview mirror
Need some help. I'm wanting to upgrade my rearview mirror to a homelink (garage door opener). Mini wants over $500 for a new one, just a bit out of my price range. I purchased what I understood to be the mirror that I'm wanting out of 2013 Countyman. Well it came Friday but I'm skeptial. Do any of you have a 2013 Paceman or Countryman with the homelink option? If so, can you snap a pic or two, from the bottom showing the controls. The mini dealer told me that they have no way to cross-reference between mirrors, and that they have no prictures for the different types of mirrors. Thanks in advance

Snapped a couple of pics. Mine is a 4/13 build CM. It is really had to get a good picture, not easy to get good lighting.

Hello all, I’m coming back to the Mini world as I just purchased my second Mini after trading my first MCS 5 years ago. This time I got a 15 Paceman S and I am really enjoying it. The one thing missing is the self dimming mirror with the home link garage opener. I did some research but not sure if apply to 15’s models. I addition the retrofit wire kit is not longer available. Any help is highly appreciated as I am committed to install the new mirror. Thank you, Carlo |
