New to mini thought I'd say hi!
 

Hey guys, I'm mike. Coming from a 2009 Nissan 370Z in manual. I ordered a 2014 Paceman S All4 in manual, absolute black with black interior black headlight xenons and black wheels. I have my build and tracking it on minis site. Says its waiting to cross the pond. Dealer says should be about a month. I test drove this car and fell in love. Definitely a big departure from the Z but suits all my needs.

Anyways just wanted to introduce and say thanks for being informative and having a section dedicated to the paceman. I'm about to order a platypus hole less license plate frame and maybe a few small things and will plastidip the chrome headlight tail light housings when she arrives. Otherwise don't have many mod plans yet.

Congrats! I know the wait is killing you, it was a drag for me! One mod to think about is a 22mm rear swaybar;) It's night and day in the car around twistiesss

Can you suggest a good company or vendor? I know nothing about minis unfortunately but I want to learn as much as I can.

Thanks guys for the replies, I definitely think I made the right choice in cars! Hopefully more vendors will release mods for the paceman. Is it true that the CMS mods fit our paceman? I think within the next 6 months I will do an intake and exhaust to help her breathe better.

All engine/suspension, ehxaust, etc. are the same for R60/61... Differences are obvious: rear design (rear lights, boot, rear seats don't slide). :thumbsup:


As far as vendor goes, I always bet on NM Eng! Being tested and used on my previous 3 MINIs... Only, If they can get up off their a$$ and put out more parts for "big" MINI...

I appreciate the response. I am going to start a wish list of items I want for the car so once she is actually here I can see what things I want to add or leave off. Hard to make decisions when she isnt even in my garage yet!
