Hi, a friend helped me install the thermostat in my 2013 R60 All4S. I have an extra wire left over. Where does this go? Can someone send me a photo of where it goes? Or a page from the Service Manual?

Not sure if you got this figured out nut possibly the intake tube one of the sensors that goes in the bottom right of the intake tube
What color are the wires? Orange and white? Looks like the wire to the quality control valve on the high pressure fuel pump. At least that is where it is connected on my 2015. If you've figured it out already and that is not where it went, I'd like to know where.
Hi all, thank you for your support. I got it figured out weeks ago. That wire went to the thermostat. I had to take everything apart again and found a sensor outlet to the thermostat was not hooked up. The wire colors were orange and light grey (or white...hard to tell).
Anyway the thermostat and everything is back together. Its been running great except the footwell module lost its mind (I had the battery disconnected). I had to get the software and a OBD cable to reprogram it.

Indeed the connector is not to a sensor its to the thermo heater. Orange AND white. White goes to the DME (ground circuit control white pin number 49 in the large DME connector closest to the firewall) The orange is 12v through a relay and the DME.
