P0015 after timing chain replacement on 11 R60

Hey fellas, I've been having some problems with this code constantly popping up since replacing the timing chain and I could use some advice.

Tomorrow morning we're getting back into the engine as we neglected to use the tensioner tool that comes with the cam lock/flywheel pin kit when timing the car. It's now my understanding that tool goes in place of the actual tensioner and torqued down before tightening the cam gears. I'd be interested in hearing what your thoughts are on this process.

Also, this is going to sound like a cringe/boneheaded move, but what are the chances the exhaust and intake cam gears are switched around? Would that even work? I'm second guessing everything I've done and I just want to know if that's even a possibility.

Just to clarify, we did get a Foxwell scanner and reset adaptations after performing the timing chain replacement.
