Left Wheel Speed Sensor codes even after Sensor replaced?

I have a 2011 Countryman All4 S. I recently had the following codes 5DB2: left rear wheel speed sensor periodical control; 5DB3: left rear wheel speed sensor accident recognition; and 5DB4: left rear wheel speed sensor long term control. I replaced the sensor, attempted to reset the codes, but they would not reset. I then read that aftermarket sensors sometimes don’t work, so I ordered a OEM sensor and installed it. Again, the codes did not reset. Through additional research I read that sometimes a bad wheel bearing will cause this issue. So, I ordered and replaced the wheel bearing on the left rear wheel (the bearing was pretty bad), but again, the codes would not reset.

Anyone have have any other suggestions? There aren’t any other codes than the three mentioned.

I'm interested in responses to this as well. A couple days ago, I hooked up a Schwaben tool to my car for the first time and saw a code for the front right speed sensor. I cleared it and will check again in a couple days when it isn't quite so cold. I assume it will be back but the optimist in me hopes in was a fluke.

Where did you order your speed sensor?

Gresh: Where in Virginia are you? I'm in Fairfax. I have a front hub if you're interested.

I guess I am not the only one who has done this.
