Brighter fog lights on CMS

The original light bulbs in the fogs are not as bright as I would like, wondering if any one has replaced them with brighter bulbs, if so which bulbs can replace the originals ones.

Haven't done it yet, but a search "h11 fog light bulbs" should give you a start. Then decide yellow, LED, etc.

It's a post on how to replace the 35W H8 bulbs with 55W H11 bulbs.

every auto parts store near me sells both 35 watt and 55 watt h8 bulbs in yellow and several different white tints

my dealer says the heat of 55 watt bulbs will damage the housings

I used the yellow for areas of high snow or fog. Some people like the platinum as it matches the factory xenon. And there H8 bulbs will not burn out the housing like other higher wattage bulbs/

The Ziza postions add some light also.

The option for people without factory fogs is the Ziza Postion light leds. Its in the link above.

Otherwise you have the Factory DRL / Fog kit : 63122338554

Thanks and hope that helps.

If you're looking to keep the factory housings I've had good luck with the Sylvania ZXE bulbs in previous vehicles, no HID conversion required.

If you want better light output, an HID setup from retro-solutions.com would be a great setup at a reasonable price.

But if you want the awesome looks as well as the added light output, I highly recommend the MINI Driving Lights that replace your lower marker/fog light housings.
