How it is the durability of this? Easy to scratch? Rain? Heat?
Thanks

its fairly decent.... I mean i've taken it to machine car washes about 8 times since and its fine... previous car I did the same and it lasted over a year almost... I actually scratched it when cleaning with a towel as I still had my wedding ring on LOL. IF you do it, just take your time.... watch some of the 100000s of youtube videos on plasti dip... since it can be removed, its forgiving if you need to redo it...I actually redid one of the headlight rings last tim because I didn't like the way it came out.
You can use the plasti dip version they sell at autozone whch is a different brand... pretty similar, but its not as elastic as the plasti dip, but I thought the finish came out a bit better/smoother.
I did all my chrome, badges. and rims. In Addition I did the side panels under the scuttles in front of the front doors. I will post pictures once I'm back up and running. all blacked out.
Only chrome bits left on the car are the beltline and door handles. Did headlight/taillight rings, grille, badges and emblems. Love the look, especially on a black / white car. They've held up well, as I did them about 2 years ago. There are a couple rock chips on the grille, but not bad enough to make me want to redo them. But at this point, after a couple Texas summers, I feel like it will be tough to remove them...not that it won't come off, but it definitely won't peel off in big pieces like it's able to do when new.

Did you remove your grill to dip it? I want to do mine, but I know nothing about taking cars apart. LOL
I was consideling doing chrome trim on my grill black and light trip (currently chrome) white but I am afraid that
1. Paint will chip
2. White plasti dip will stand out too much on my white countryman
i did my headlight rings a few years ago and they're still as good as the day i sprayed them. the red plastidipped stripes on my cargo have began fading after about 2 years tho.
